about

Written by M.Magnani © Recorded at Cloud 10 Studios, London. Mixed & Mastered at Woodstock Road Studio by M.Magnani, 2023.
Marco Magnani (vocals/ guitars). John O'Sullivan (bass/ backing vocals). Shin Okajima (drums). Rachel Kashi (Organ).
P.S. This song was originally a random improvisation recorded by the band with no song, nor vocals. On a second stage when Marco remembered it existed, cut and edit the piece into a proper structure, adding vocal melody and words, Rachel magic touch on Organ and extra bits of guitars.

lyrics

I'm losing track of time
it could be winter, could be summer.
Ordinary town
I forgot which one I live in
There's no colour, there's no colour,
I don't know where we'll be tomorrow
I can't follow, I can't follow.
Whichever way I choose is narrow.

Here they come to rearrange every sound
Towns and green grass underground
What you used today will soon be old
Be part of the game or be gone.

The old clock tower is gone
and the electric stars are shining
it's getting clearer now
that the age of clowns is blooming
See them coming, See them coming,
The circus comes to town. They're running.
I'm sleepwalking while I'm phoning
but no here will run me over.

Here they come to rearrange every sound
Towns and green grass underground
What you used today will soon be old
Be part of the game or be gone.

In Techno Town
machines cannot hear you crying
They make funny sounds
but no one stops me from falling.
I am trying to keep calm
but there are gloomy faces hanging around
I have searched but could not find
All is changing in the age of clowns

Here they come to rearrange every sound
Towns and green grass underground
What you used today will soon be old
Be part of the game or be gone.
