Doors slam, eat fast,
sit down for a while
Sweat like plastic
running down the underground.

Cars beep, grumpy drivers swearing,
like yourself they're out of breath.
I'm trying not to laugh meanwhile I wonder

Deep down you now realise she's bored.
red and green lights,
clocks turning in your mind.

Alien faces from the station,
electronically they run
